This portrait of Lilli and the buzzard was taken in a wild bird rescue center near Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The buzzard was brought to the wild bird rescue center with a broken wing. When the photo was taken, it had healed and was about to be released back into the wild. It was an intense moment when Lilli and the buzzard looked long and deeply into each others eyes.
