This photographic project was developed during the exhibition Euphoria, held in
Rome at the Nuvola by Fuksas between December 2024 and March 2025. It
explores the relationship between immersive installations and their viewers. The
bubble-like forms act as relational devices, activating physical and emotional
responses rather than remaining objects of passive contemplation.
Children engage first, instinctively and through play. Adults follow, gradually
relinquishing distance, control, and self-awareness. In this transition, the work
reveals how play becomes a shared, transformative language.
The choice of black and white removes the seduction of color to focus on form,
gesture, and presence. The installations dissolve into the background, while
human reactions become the true subject of the images.
The photographs investigate moments in which art suspends time and opens a
space of vulnerability—where the body listens, and the soul is allowed to talk.
