This series of self-portraits was created using a large-format camera, with one second of times to register a sense of movement, duration, and memory. These sometimes evoke the angelic aspect of being, at other times its monstrous side. Other dualities are also present: the spirit, through the almost immaterial quality of the trace, and the body, through the forms produced; the ephemeral and the enduring; but also life and death, which oppose or coexist with one another.

I dance with death, and through my body—revealed in the form of ethereal images—it is the very fragility of our existence that I question.
