This photographic project is an investigation into the mystery of the bond between man and God, taken in one of the most intense moments in recent spiritual history: the day of Pope Francis' death.
"Smisurata preghiera" is a visual journey between human fragility and the strength of collective spirituality. An act of love, research and hope, a hymn to those who continue to search, to believe, to pray "beyond the horizon", without certainties and without protection.
As evening fell on Monday 21 April 2025, St. Peter's Square was transformed into a place of profound meditation.
Thousands of people gathered for the first community Rosary gave shape to a prayer that went beyond words, made of silences, tears, faces turned to the sky.
The camera tried to tell the story of the relationship between man and God in a space of mourning and shared faith. In every gesture, in every look, a universal need was evident: to seek God, to feel him close.
"Smisurata preghiera" tries to tell the voice that prays, even when it no longer finds the words.
