Attrition is an essay that explores anthropogenic impacts and their
negative consequences that can affect human behavior and the
environment.
Everything was going very well. Nature developed in the most
chaotic and brilliant way possible and all living organisms were
organized into intelligent structures and societies. But then the man
arrived. And came full of intentions.
Anthropogenic actions are the actions carried out by man. This
expression became known when the need to talk about the changes
caused by human beings in the environment and what the impacts were
caused were seen.
When we refer to the word impact, it is common to associate it with
something negative. And this is what Attrition is about. Many natural
resources have been used by man in an unruly manner, demonstrating a
certain lack of concern for their availability. Industrialization associated
with the capitalist mentality of production and exaggerated consumption
has triggered actions that aim only to obtain profit, thus increasing
socio-environmental problems, since producing more requires further
exploration of natural resources.
Global warming, black tide, deforestation, inappropriate use of
water resources… and we still have the urbanization process.
Yes, humans have failed a lot in this use of the environment.
