Oneness emerged from a personal feeling of loneliness and disconnection. Created as a reminder that separation is an illusion, the cathartic work reflects on our belonging to a constantly evolving greater system.
Each image exists inside an oval form, resembling the shape of an egg - a universal symbol of renewal. To me, it represents potential ready to unfold on an ongoing spiritual journey. Within these frames, everything merges, dissolves and is reinvented, mirroring the cyclical nature of life. People, animals, natural elements such as earth, water, sky and vegetation, as well as human-made structures like concrete and abstract textures combine without hierarchy. The laws of physics are discarded, allowing everything to blend and shift. This visual disruption reflects my belief that we are all interconnected and subject to continuous transformation.
Oneness celebrates belonging and unity, emphasizing the idea that endings are never final and pain is only temporary. It invites viewers to sense themselves as part of a system that contains everything in existence: A space where anxiety and confidence are interdependent, wounded hearts find closure and begin to love anew, and light arises from darkness. The series meditates on healing, regained hope and continuity for anyone struggling with isolation and grief.
