Sanga Sanga Village Chapter from the long-term project “0 Meters Above Sea Level” - @simone.campedelli
Sanga Sanga Village is a photographic chapter from the long-term project “0 Meters Above Sea Level”, focused on communities living directly at sea level.
In this stilt village in the southern Philippines, water is not a boundary but a living space. Childhood unfolds between boats, wooden paths, and open water, where balance is learned before fear and daily life happens at the surface of the sea.
This work explores how environment shapes identity, relationships, and survival in places where land is optional and water is home.
