Silver Medal in the category « Blurb scenes »
London Blurred examines the instability of perception within the contemporary metropolis. Through motion blur, layered exposures, and obstructed views through glass, the series dissolves the solidity of urban space. Figures appear suspended between visibility and disappearance, their identities fragmented by reflection and movement.
Rather than documenting London as architecture, the work explores the psychological tempo of the city — its speed, anonymity, and constant flux. Glass surfaces act as membranes between interior and exterior worlds, suggesting both connection and separation. Time stretches, bodies elongate, and the decisive moment gives way to ambiguity.
The series invites viewers to experience the city not as a place of clarity, but as a shifting field of presence and erasure.
