Nagüí was born from the observation and study of light on organic elements, specifically fruits and vegetables; light (of a complex nature), as an element in the photographic process is unquestionably the most important and defining factor of each artistic exercise.
Beyond the optical properties of light and its propagation, the absence of the same "shadow", composed by the “umbra”, half-light (penumbra) and “antumbra”, are in this case the feature that delimits the absence, quantity and quality of light generated on the portrayed.
The objective of this series is to present these case studies from the dark, as a primary discourse to reveal the morphological characteristics of each of the organic elements presented here; analysis and vision of each interaction of the visible spectrum to obtain drama, tonality, volume and texture, recontextualizing the "inherent" of these ripe fruits.
