Ageing encompasses a series of visual and physical transformations. Contemporary consumer culture promotes the notion that these transformations can be arrested through the use of commercially available products. I am deeply intrigued by the psychological motivations behind the desire to effect such changes, should it be feasible. A lifetime is required to craft the ultimate portrait of oneself. My artistic endeavours focus on the manipulation of self-portraits to convey emotional representations of these transformations. The project is ongoing
