"Urban Solitude" is a meditative journey through the urban landscape of my hometown, Hong Kong. This series unveils an undercurrent of isolation and seclusion, capturing moments where individuals appear unknowingly trapped and disoriented within an artificial urban labyrinth. Their surroundings seem to confine and envelop them, leaving no clear path of escape. This visual metaphor reflects how we, too, become captivated and ensnared by the very urban environments we have constructed. At its core, the project contemplates the relentless, demanding rhythm of metropolitan life and urban existence, highlighting the delicate tension between connection and solitude in the modern world.
